Gajar Ka Halwa

It is one of the most popular Indian Desert which originated in Punjab. It is mainly a winter sweet dish.
Ingredients
·        1 1/2 liter milk
·        1 kg carrots
·        5-7 Tbsp sugar
·        2 Tbsp raisins
·        2 Tbsp chopped dates
·        1 Tbsp shredded almonds
·        8 green cardamoms
·        5-7 Tbsp ghee
Method:
1.     Firstly, peel and grate all the carrots.
2.     Boil the milk with the cardamom until the liquid evaporates.
3.     Meanwhile, heat ghee in a pan and add the carrot mixture.
4.     Cool it on a gentle flame for 10 to 15 minutes.
5.     Now stir sugar into it and continue to cook until it turns deep reddish color.

6.     Sprinkle dry fruits and serve.
