Losing Weight is not an easy task, a lot of self-control, hard work, and determination is required to reduce weight. There are often a lot of ingredients that we have in our kitchen but don’t know that they can help us reach our target weight a little faster than usual. There are some great sources of nourishment for vegetarians as well that provides us with all the important nutrients.

1. Wheat Bran
Bran is the outer covering of wheat which is generally discarded. One can start having wheat bran chapattis instead of the regular ones. They are high in fiber and have comparatively lower gluten content than the actual whole wheat chapattis.

Peanut Butter is not actual Butter; it’s mainly just oil and peanuts. The nutty flavor and the crunchy texture make it a real treat in any weight loss plan. It is high in unsaturated fat and protein. 1 teaspoon of nut butter in a day combined with a proper workout plan will show some amazing results.

They are magical seeds, you can eat them raw, you can grind them and mix the with your salad or just have them as a mouth freshener. The benefit of coconuts are endless, they are a gift from nature. Coconut water is high in anti-oxidants and helps keep us stay hydrated through the day. They naturally suppress appetite and are great for one’s skin as well. Coconut water has low amounts of healthy natural fats which help in nourishing our bodies.
6. Cottage Cheese
It is a slow digesting protein which helps us to curb hunger pangs. It is also a very versatile ingredient, can be grilled and eaten with salad, can be made into a healthy sandwich filling or can also be stuffed into a paratha, the options are endless. For vegetarians, it’s as good as eating egg whites. Its high protein content makes it very healthy while having cottage cheese; you don’t really feel that you’re on a diet!
Food is a very integral part of our life; all our meals should be well planned. Following a diet doesn’t mean that one has to give up on all their favorite foods and have boiled vegetables and soup all day. Eating healthy should be one’s motto, the diet will automatically follow.
As for weight loss, it’s almost impossible to lose weight without proper exercising and a healthy diet which consists of all the food groups.
